It will help speed up the design and estimating process if you have the following information:

A bird's-eye view of your deck, with dimensions and location of stairs.
Elevations, especially at stairs.
Type of decking, if you know, otherwise we can go over all the options with you.
Will deck be supporting a Hot Tub or Roof now, or in the future?
Type of Railing, for example:
- Square baluster
- Colonial spindle
- Vinyl or Metal Rail
- Pressure Treated
- Cedar, etc...
Direction of decking.
